Micromanagement of your weapon load-outs plays a big part of the game and it is particularly well implemented.Īs you would expect, the highlight of the game goes to the spaceships you will be able to fly. If you do happen to find yourself fighting a space pirate boss without the proper weapon to take him out, you can either restart and reconfigure your loadout or, if you’re stubborn like us, ram them into submission. Some ships have device slots and you can use these with ‘A’ and ‘B’, adding options like EMP pulses or cloaking devices to your arsenal. As more of these you unlock, the more options you will be able to fit into your ship and having the right weapon type for each boss is key to a smooth victory. Your primary weapons have different types of ammo (ballistic, laser, plasma), fire modes and range. You can use ‘R’ and ‘L’ to quickly swap between weapon mount points. ‘ZR’ will fire your infinite primary weapons while ‘ZL’ will fire your limited, missile weapons. Weapons systems are reserved for the shoulder buttons. That is all you will need to know about flight controls and despite really responsive, we found sometimes using this default scheme made us inadvertently barrel roll while boosting and crashing our ship onto space debris or capital ships. The left analog stick controls your ship direction and the right one controls braking, boosting and triggering left or fight barrel rolls that can be used to evade enemy locks. Fortunately, it's a refined and precise experience, with easy to pick up controls that allow for all sorts of flashy maneuvers. You can start building them at easily reachable planet (how many blueprints you wish, but one piece at once), move your available components on them, and than leave to other planets to get another supplies. "M6A3 Wolverine" is an ultimate weapon, but a little hard to operate.Īnd a last hint - you do not need to have all components to start completion of each blueprint. And "Rhoda Blackhole" makes your cargo space twice so big. Another good device - "Gunant's Drill" is really cool! Is perfectly stable so is much easier to mine asteroid cores and get more ore for other achievements. And for others achivements you really need jump drive "Khador Drive" to reach Systems without Jumpgates. ![]() For achievemets Handyman Gold and Engineer Gold you need to have and to complete all 13 of those blueprints (each one at least once). In basics there is 13 blueprints at this game + others at DLCs, but those are not available on STEAM (for today). Some are usefull and some not, but all are necessary to be built, if you wish to gain all achievements for this game. Blueprints are needed to aquire brand new types of equipments. ![]()
